1. National Level

• Cell-microenvironment Interaction Center for International Cooperation and Disciplinary Innovation ("111 Center")

Based on the cutting-edge research field of cell-microenvironment interactions, the base carries out breakthrough research focusing on major non-communicable diseases such as malignant tumors and neuropsychiatric disorders. By establishing international joint research teams and facilitating high-level talent exchanges and collaborative training, the base is committed to building a world-class research center in cell-microenvironment interaction.

2. Ministerial and Provincial Level

• Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Precision Diagnosis and Treatment for Lung Cancer

Focusing on clinical challenges of lung cancer such as insufficient early diagnosis, unclear pathogenesis and unsatisfactory therapeutic effects, the laboratory conducts research on molecular mechanisms, biomarker screening, novel diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and drug development, and has grown into a strategic scientific and technological force for life and health in Zhejiang Province.

• Zhejiang Key Laboratory of RNA Medicine Intelligence

With the core mission of addressing the stability and targeted-delivery efficiency challenges of RNA therapeutics, the laboratory builds an AI-driven high-throughput R&D platform. It will prioritize the development of innovative RNA therapies for hereditary infertility, liver diseases and respiratory diseases, break technical bottlenecks in inhaled drug administration, establish a full-chain system spanning basic research to clinical translation, and provide core support for building Zhejiang's high-land of life-health science and technology innovation.

• Zhejiang-Sweden Joint Laboratory on Tumor Immunology

Focusing on exploring the key factors and functional mechanisms of the immune microenvironment in tumor initiation and progression as well as immunotherapy resistance, the laboratory also works on optimizing immunotherapy regimens and developing novel adjuvant immunotherapeutic strategies. It aims to advance the clinical translation of these optimized solutions for tumor immunotherapy and build an internationally high-level experimental platform for tumor immunotherapy.

• Zhejiang-Denmark Joint Laboratory of Regeneration and Aging Medicine

By elucidating the common mechanisms underlying cellular, tissue and organ aging, the laboratory develops intervention and therapeutic strategies for aging-related diseases based on regenerative medicine technologies including stem-cell therapy, gene therapy and innovative biomaterials, and builds a top-tier domestic research platform for regenerative and aging medicine.

• Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center for Fertility Protection and Promotion

The center focuses on tackling core bottlenecks in reproductive health. It prioritizes the innovation of technical and equipment systems for ovarian fertility preservation and promotion, as well as the research and development of technical systems for uterine fertility preservation and promotion. It strives to build a national key base integrating scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in the field of reproductive health.
