
On August 17, the 16th Advanced International Course: Clinical Epileptology--the 16th International Summer School for Epileptologists opened in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province.
Hosted by the China Association Against Epilepsy (CAAE), co-organized by the Sichuan Association Against Epilepsy (SAAE) and Zhejiang Association Against Epilepsy (ZAAE), and undertaken by the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the event gathered top experts and scholars in epilepsy from Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Hong Kong of China and other countries and regions. Five-day all-English lectures and in-depth discussions were carried out focusing on clinical diagnosis and treatment, basic research and cutting-edge technologies of epilepsy.
Since its inception, this series of courses has adhered to the philosophy of "academic leadership and clinical orientation", and is committed to building a high-level international academic exchange platform for Chinese experts and scholars engaged in epilepsy. The summer school will further promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign epilepsy disciplines, and contribute to the advancement of standardized and equitable diagnosis and treatment for epilepsy patients in China.
