Yan Shigui

He has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis, treatment, and basic research in orthopedic surgery. Over the past three decades, he has performed approximately 5,000 joint replacement surgeries and possesses extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex hip replacements. He has participated in multiple training programs and exchanges in joint surgery at specialized orthopedic hospitals in the United States, Germany, and other countries. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the *Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics*, Associate Editor of the *Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic and Joint Surgery*, and Standing Executive Editorial Board Member of the *Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery*. He is also a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
