He is engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in orthopedics at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. He graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in July 1998 and serves as a master’s thesis advisor at Zhejiang University. With 23 years of experience in orthopedic clinical practice, he was certified as a Chief Physician in 2014. His primary focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint diseases and osteoporosis, as well as in-depth basic research. He is a principal investigator on a National Natural Science Foundation of China project titled “Study on the Mechanisms by Which the Small GTPase Protein Rab5 Mediates the AKT-mTOR Pathway to Promote Osteogenesis and Protect Against Osteoporosis.”
