He graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1983 and has since been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in obstetrics and gynecology. During this time, he spent a year studying in Singapore and subsequently earned a Master of Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine from Zhejiang University. He is a renowned expert in reproductive medicine in China. He has achieved significant expertise in the fields of reproductive medicine, including the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, assisted reproductive technologies (such as artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization), minimally invasive surgeries for infertility, gynecological endocrinology, endometriosis, and the diagnosis and treatment of hereditary reproductive disorders. Several of his techniques have filled gaps in domestic medical practice.
