A graduate of Zhejiang University with a master’s degree, he is an associate chief physician who has been engaged in clinical, research, and teaching work in cardiothoracic surgery for over a decade. He specializes in the radiological assessment of pulmonary nodules and won first place in the First Respiratory Radiology MDT Competition hosted by the Chinese Radiological Society. In 2015, he began performing various thoracic surgeries via single-port thoracoscopy, including sleeve resection of the lung, complex segmental resections, combined segmental resections, radical resection of esophageal cancer, treatment of hyperhidrosis, and resection of mediastinal tumors. He was also among the first in the province to perform endoscopic rib fracture fixation. Minimally invasive procedures account for over 95% of general thoracic surgeries. He also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various adult cardiac conditions, including valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, cardiac tumors, aortic dissection, and common congenital heart defects such as atrial and ventricular septal defects. Currently, minimally invasive procedures account for over 50% of routine cardiac surgeries.
