He has been engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in cardiothoracic surgery for over 30 years. He joined the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in October 2019 as part of a talent recruitment initiative. He is one of the earliest experts in Zhejiang Province to perform radical lung cancer resection via fully thoracoscopic surgery. He was the first in his department to perform precision segmental lung resection and ranks first in the hospital for the annual volume of Class III–IV surgeries. He enjoys an excellent reputation within the provincial thoracic surgery community. His clinical practice fully embodies the principles of minimally invasive surgery, precision, and rapid recovery, and his compassionate care and skilled medical practice have earned widespread praise from patients. He was honored as a University-Level Model Worker at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2020 and received third-place awards for Outstanding Natural Science Papers from both Zhejiang Province and Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. He has been recognized as an “Outstanding Clinical Instructor” by Wenzhou Medical University for three consecutive years.
