Zhao Xiaofeng
Title: Chief Physician Doctor of Medicine
Graduated from the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University and began working in 1999. He is a third-tier trainee in Zhejiang Province’s “151 Talent Program.” He has been invited on multiple occasions to deliver academic presentations and perform live surgical demonstrations. Based on the principles of interstitial and membrane anatomy and related anatomical research, he has proposed new perspectives on pelvic anatomy. Building on this foundation, he has designed and modified several surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic cervical cancer resection at the levator ani muscle level with nerve preservation, anatomical repair for pelvic organ prolapse (the CY Liu series of pelvic floor repair surgeries), modified laparoscopic surgery for urinary incontinence (modified Burch procedure), and the principle of first extraperitoneal then intraperitoneal excision for broad ligament or cervical fibroids. These procedures have been adopted by numerous major hospitals across China and have received positive feedback. He was invited to contribute to the German laparoscopic textbook *Hysterectomy: A Comprehensive Surgical Approach*, writing the chapter on hysterectomy, and was invited to translate *Modern Colposcopy*.
