Featuring minimally invasive and non‑invasive techniques, functional preservation, and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), the department conducts in‑depth research on surgical anatomy and minimally invasive/non‑invasive surgeries, and has solved numerous challenging surgical problems in gynecology. It has created the first anatomical map of natural spaces in the lower abdomen and pelvis, and established a series of bloodless surgical techniques based on natural spaces. Multiple technologies, including nerve‑sparing cervical cancer surgery, autologous tissue reconstruction for pelvic organ prolapse, surgery for urinary incontinence, cold‑knife hysteroscopy, and bloodless hysterectomy, are at a leading level.
