He has been engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in the field of nephrology for over 20 years. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Lanzhou University in June 2009. From June 2010 to December 2012, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Clinical Research Center for Nephrology at the General Hospital of the Eastern Theater Command, under the supervision of Academician Liu Zhihong. He was promoted to Chief Physician in 2021. He has served as Director of the Nephrology Ward and Director of the Hemodialysis Center at the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University.
