Ranked among Jinhua’s Excellent Key Disciplines, the Department of Nephrology encompasses an independent inpatient nephrology unit, subspecialty‑based outpatient services, a hemodialysis center and a peritoneal dialysis center. It provides diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for primary and secondary glomerulonephritis, refractory nephrotic syndrome and complicated urinary tract infections. Genetic testing for hereditary nephropathies, vascular‑access establishment and maintenance for uremic patients, peritoneal dialysis catheter implantation, as well as parathyroid transplantation with longitudinal follow‑up are also available.
