Endocrinology Department
The Department of Endocrinology at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University was established with support from the Run Run Shaw Hospital, Affiliated to the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. Since its inception, the department has developed rapidly. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of all medical staff, it is now designated as a Class I Key Discipline in Jinhua City and a Key Discipline in Yiwu City. With over 75,000 outpatient visits annually, the department has become a leading force in diabetes health education in the Jinhua region. All physicians hold doctoral or master’s degrees. The department is responsible for training Zhejiang University master’s and undergraduate students and serves as a national-level internal medicine residency training base, providing standardized training for resident physicians.
