The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine currently has a staff of two associate chief physicians, three attending physicians, and three residents, including one PhD and seven master’s degree holders. The department offers general outpatient services, specialist clinics, premium outpatient services, and a dedicated gout clinic, a joint rheumatology-fertility clinic, and a specialized inpatient ward. The department routinely provides diagnosis and treatment for connective tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, myositis, and dermatomyositis, as well as ankylosing spondylitis, gout, systemic vasculitis, and osteoarthritis. Additionally, the department has accumulated clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases such as IgG4-related disease and recurrent polychondritis.
