The Department of Infectious Diseases at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of various types of liver diseases and infectious diseases. The medical team consists of 3 chief physicians, 3 associate chief physicians, 5 attending physicians, and 2 residents, including 1 postdoctoral fellow and 1 PhD. The team possesses extensive clinical experience in treating various types of viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, and cirrhosis. The department boasts a well-structured team and strong technical capabilities. It routinely offers specialist clinics, general outpatient services, and specialized clinics for liver disease, fatty liver, and chronic hepatitis B. Additionally, it has established specialized clinics for infectious diseases, including a fever clinic and a gastrointestinal clinic. “Patient-centered care” is our service philosophy; “equal emphasis on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention” is our guiding principle; and “to become a leading infectious disease diagnosis and treatment center in central Zhejiang and a first-class facility nationwide as soon as possible, thereby better serving more patients” is our goal.
