The Department of Oncology at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine comprises two inpatient wards, a Precision Radiotherapy Center, and a Day Treatment Center. Working closely with Pathology, Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Surgery, and other specialties, the department has established multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and is committed to building a high-level cancer prevention and treatment center serving central and western Zhejiang Province. It provides comprehensive, precision-guided cancer care, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, rehabilitation, and supportive care. The department has led one national-level research project, participated in one National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) project, and led multiple provincial- and departmental-level projects. More than 20 SCI-indexed papers have been published. Faculty members have contributed to several oncology monographs, and selected research findings have been incorporated into national clinical practice guidelines.
