Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine
This department inherits and promotes the traditional culture of Chinese medicine. Guided by the holistic concept and focusing on the physiology and pathology of the internal organs and meridians, it leverages the unique strengths of traditional Chinese medicine by adhering to a people-centered humanistic philosophy, the therapeutic principle of “differential diagnosis and treatment,” and the health preservation concept of “preventing disease before it occurs.” The department currently offers distinctive TCM therapies, including treatment with decocted Chinese herbal medicines, acupuncture and cupping, and acupoint plaster therapy. The department is staffed by one chief physician and four attending physicians, all of whom hold master’s degrees or higher. Department members have led and participated in numerous provincial and municipal-level research projects.
