It provides diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for primary and secondary glomerulonephritis, refractory nephrotic syndrome and complicated urinary tract infections. Genetic testing for hereditary nephropathies, vascular‑access establishment and maintenance for uremic patients, peritoneal dialysis catheter implantation, as well as parathyroid transplantation with longitudinal follow‑up are also available. Boasting robust clinical and academic capabilities in precision immunotherapy for refractory nephropathies, complex vascular‑access intervention and multi‑organ supportive therapy for critically ill patients, it represents the largest, most comprehensive and technically sophisticated nephrology service in west‑central Zhejiang.

1. Precision immunosuppressive therapy for refractory and rare nephropathies: Pathological profiling via safe renal biopsy serves as the diagnostic gold standard for immunosuppressive regimens. Therapeutic drug monitoring of immunosuppressive agents facilitates individualized targeted therapy, with substantial real‑world experience accrued for refractory and rare renal disorders.

2. Multimodality blood purification for critical‑care nephrology: The center delivers continuous renal replacement therapy, hemoperfusion, plasma exchange, bilirubin adsorption, immunoadsorption and hybrid blood‑purification modalities. Organ‑support care is provided for acute intoxication, hepatic failure, severe pancreatitis, cardiac dysfunction, myasthenia gravis, Guillain‑Barré syndrome, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura and multiple‑organ dysfunction syndrome.
