Pharmacy Department
The Department of Pharmacy at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University comprises the Central Pharmacy, the Intravenous Medication Compounding Center, the Emergency Pharmacy, the Reproductive Pharmacy, the Fever Clinic Pharmacy, the Central Medicine Warehouse, the Operating Room Pharmacy, and the Clinical Pharmacy Office. It serves as a training center for standardized clinical pharmacist training under the Clinical Pharmacy Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and is a member unit of the Zhejiang University Clinical Pharmacy Research Center. Currently, the department has a total of 65 staff members, including 2 Chief Pharmacists, 3 Deputy Chief Pharmacists, 28 Senior Pharmacists, 1 doctoral student, and 25 master’s students. Since its establishment, the department has actively engaged in scientific research, with department members leading more than 20 provincial, ministerial, and departmental-level research projects. They have published over 10 SCI-indexed papers (with the highest impact factor of 14.5) and more than 10 articles in top-tier and core domestic journals. As a member unit of the Zhejiang University Clinical Pharmacy Research Center, the department is authorized to supervise master’s degree candidates and has initiated the training of master’s students. The department has also provided clinical instruction for multiple cohorts of undergraduate and junior college students, achieving excellent teaching outcomes.
